iPhone's Best Applications
T he iPhone comes programmed with hundreds of functions that make it the best available cell phone on the market today. Calling it a cell phone takes away from what it truly is which is nothing short of a hand held computer with the option to make phone calls, take pictures, or surf the Internet. This is probably why Apple has tried to redefine the term of cell phone by calling this magnificent device an iPhone.
The applications that are available for the iPhone increase every day and we are going to take a look at how the iPhone is gaining the support of Web sites and applications across the Web.

Apple iPhone To Reinvent The Wheel
J
obes said we all hate our cell phones, and I think he was right. The design of the cell phone, that in the last years taken from it more then a status symbol and a device in which your contact's phone numbers are stored has 2 critical problems. The first is a fashion problem.
Most of the cellulars and specially the smart one are not pretty nor attract. It sounds like something unimportant, however consumers, now and ever always wanted their products to be not only usable, but also nice to our eyes, and even more important to the eyes of the people in out surrounding. The second problem in designing is the limitation on the usability. A device that should give us a way to dial, to play music, to browse the Internet, to send sms requires a complex user interface, that have tens of buttons, a thing that make it ugly and/or very thick. Here is where Jonathan Ive is coming to the picture. He brings us an ultra thin phone large enough to carry the largest and best screen that ever seen on cell phone (3.5') and at the same time keep on reasonable size to carry.
Over 200 Patents Are Applicable To The Apple iPhone Among Them:
- A censor that will turn off the screen when you put it near your ear, so during your conversation you won't accidentally press on any keys.
- A light censor that will adjust the brightness of the screen to the light conditions outside.
- A new multi-touch technology that allow you to tough the screen (did i mentioned it is 3.5'?) with two fingers at the same time, not only you can type faster, but also you can edit pictures that will pass from you computer, or pictures that will be taken with the built in 2MP camera.
How Do You Dial It?
No problem! The home page of the Apple iPhone has four main buttons on the button of the touch screen:
- I-Pod
- Internet
- Phone
You should press the green button and the screen will display you your contact list. And than.... first you press on the contact (if you have his image, you will simply press on it), then you will have to select between home, office, cell, and Here you go!
Now you have some more simple buttons like a speaker, freeze, and so on, all ready on the screen, just waiting to your fingers!
Incoming Call?
T he buttons changed again, and let you hang up the current call, or freeze it, and to get into a state of hold. Now the buttons changed again and let you make a conference call.
The lack of fixed buttons in the Apple iPhone make the interface not only nicer but also more user able, simpler and quicker.
You cannot become confused, or hit on the wrong button. The right buttons for the actions that now relevant to your screen are being displayed and the rest..... gone!
